Mt Maunganui Skate Park

This project was all about combining practicality with creative expression. Given the vibrant and high-energy nature of the skate park, it was essential that the toilet facility reflected the same sense of character while maintaining durability and usability. The Vitex hardwood slats provide a natural, warm aesthetic, adding texture and a sense of craftsmanship to the unit. Meanwhile, the custom-designed skateboard door stops were a fun, thoughtful addition that ties directly into the skateboarding culture.

With an integrated kiosk, this facility serves more than just a basic public toilet function—it becomes a multi-purpose hub for park users, adding value beyond its primary role. Built with long-lasting materials and vandal-resistant features, the unit will remain a reliable, low-maintenance asset for years to come.
