With really busy peak seasons and no power on site, not to mention tricky crane access, this project was quite demanding. There were also two very old existing vault tanks, which were neither level nor aligned that had to be engineered around.

PermaLoo installed a new vault tank next to these existing tanks and poured a concrete slab over all three to create a level platform. PermaLoo’s proven vault ventilation system was installed to eliminate odours. The blank concrete walls provided an ideal space for a local artist to paint murals, which add to the area visually and help prevent graffiti.
The result is a user-friendly, wheelchair-compliant attractive odour-free dry-vault public toilet which continues to impress visitors and campers.
